Looking for something new without spending a ton, I have a few Xiaomi products and the quality seems pretty good. Hayman19 wrote: ↑ Mar 18th, 2016 3:28 pm Anyone have any experience with this phone? Looking for something new without spending a ton, I have a few Xiaomi products and the quality seems pretty good. i have a regular note 3. it’s a great little phone, i got it for like $50 USD cheaper than this. the LTE is spotty in the outer edges of toronto but H+ is fine. LTE is great in the city though.

great phone. build quality could be better (creaks a bit, the two edges [top and bottom] are plastic, and they creak because of glue or whatever).

camera quality is passable. phone feels good in hand and is slim. would recommend but only if you’re ok with messing around with miui and APN settings and stuff.

don’t get it if you’re not willing to tinker with it. COLD DEAL! i paid 177 USD on aliexpress (regular price) for the Héliox model (3GB+32GB) Its going to be 170$ USD march 30th 2016. WARNING: many users reported issues with WIFI on Snapdragon models. I’ve been looking into the offshore phns to replace the ulephone be pro I purchase last year. Prices are too high due to our low buck and there are a ton of deals right now over at Wow/Koodos.

This is still a great phn and I’m sure it’ll work over here just fine if you’re willing to pay the price and wait a month or two for it to arrive. I bought phone on Mar. 01 (presale) and received it yesterday (regular shipping) for my wife from Gearbest.

I paid $219 USD and god $26.28USD cash back. I don’t like MIUI7 installed on it and she doesn’t care at all about phone OS. Phone is fast responsive. Build quality is excellent.

Didn’t have much time to test all features but I noticed that back camera doesn’t take good pictures in low light situations. Phone feels a bit thick because of the huge battery compared to OPX. Everything else worked on par with my OPX or better.

So this phone should work seamlessly with Fido? I thought any “China phone” wouldn’t have ideal compatibility with the network bands or whatever in North America? Also, is the OS really that much different/worse than android OS? (coming form a long time Samsung user) Looking for a decent spec/priced phone to use with Fido data only plan voip. Works fine on Virgin Mobile network (LTE). You can check other providers at http://willmyphonework.

net/ MIUI7 is just customized Android 5.1 I didn’t have allot of time to try all options and it just felt different (expected) from stock Lollipop on OPX. I wouldn’t say that is deal breaker. I could get used to it or flash another ROM in the worst case. dankthetank wrote: ↑ Mar 18th, 2016 4:32 pm So this phone should work seamlessly with Fido? With Fido you will get good coverage but the LTE 2600 depends on where you live. Overall you should be fine though. HEATWARE AT 64-0-0. Ebay Feedback 199 and counting.

How do you know it’s gonna be that price on March 30? Do you have some link ? I would be interested at this price I’ve had the phone for two months now. So far pretty good. Battery life is great. I am having an issue with Bluetooth on the international ROM. Sometimes it won’t reconnect to my car automatucally unless you reboot the phone.

Then happens again after a day or two. Bluetooth works fine on official China version but it will come with all the Chinese bloatware. Also you have to manually install Google play store.

Waiting for another international version that has the Bluetooth working. Other than that, phone has been good. azncapcom wrote: ↑ Mar 18th, 2016 6:17 pm I’ve had the phone for two months now. So far pretty good. Battery life is great.

Other than that, phone has been good. Hi, Anybody tried bluetooth headphones with it ? I’ve tried a couple of chinese phones with bluetooth headphones and the sound ‘cuts’ pretty often. kofmillenium wrote: ↑ Mar 18th, 2016 4:18 pm COLD DEAL! i paid 177 USD on aliexpress (regular price) for the Héliox model (3GB+32GB) Its going to be 170$ USD march 30th 2016.
